About Me
I offer evidence based, outpatient, client centered services for individuals who are 16 years of age and older. I have practiced in both the private and public sectors, have experience working with individuals and groups, and with providing services for mental health, interpersonal violence, sexual assault and substance abuse. I have completed Certifications in Anxiety Treatments and Trauma Treatments. In 2008, I completed my Ph.D. in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College. I earned my Master of Social Work in 1996 from Marywood University, and my BA in Psychology, in 1994, from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. I also have 10 years of academic experience as a professor of Social Work. I earned my Clinical Social Worker License in 2019 and am credentialed with most commercial insurances and Medicare. I am located in the Poconos Center Professional Building on Purdytown Turnpike, Lakeville, Pa., and am currently accepting new patients from throughout NEPA. Telehealth and in person appointments available.
